The hotel rooms are reasonably clean and well-kept, but with issues like screen doors not sliding smoothly and some concerns about the odor. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The location offers various tour options and activities, although the water access may be limited. The dining experience is highlighted by a good selection of fresh food, especially Mexican cuisine. Overall, it's a decent stay with a few drawbacks to consider.
Staying in Building 2 on the main floor gave me a bigger balcony and a better ocean view, although it was right over the kids' pool. The room had a great overlook of the surf and was steps away from the adult pool. However, some things were broken, and towels were missing, with a daily $30 access fee.
I had a great time at Villa 1, Room 1220 with spacious accommodation, a small balcony, and a good view of the ocean and the adult pool. While some things were broken and towels were missing, the overall experience overlooking the main pools and the beach was very nice.
